How quickly the 2023 season has passed by: we have enjoyed every single moment and all the enriching encounters with you. Although the doors of Castello del Sole will be closed during the winter months, we are here for you and are planning a great new season 2024, so we can surprise you with even more experiences in the middle of nature. The Living Circle becomes "plastic neutral"
Thanks to a collaboration with CleanHub, The Living Circle is "plastic neutral." The hotels have systematically reduced single-use plastic. Where it is not substitutable, the single-use plastic is compensated through the cooperation with CleanHub.

Marco Zanolari will become CEO of The Living Circle Group AG
The Board of Directors of The Living Circle appoints Marco Zanolari as the new CEO. He will take over the role of Group Executive Management from Jürg Schmid, who has been performing the function on an interim basis, as of 1 August 2023. Zanolari was previously CEO of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG.

Ascona Riserva takes 3rd place in Falstaff's Merlot Trophy 2022
Falstaff once again went in search of the best Merlot in Switzerland. In third place, with 94 points, is the Ascona Merlot Riserva 2018 from Terreni alla Maggia. A spicy and flattering Merlot that matures for around 24 months in small French oak barrels. An acknowledgement of the great skill and flair that our Ascona winery demonstrates year after year when it comes to the Merlot grape.
