Marco Zanolari will become CEO of The Living Circle Group AG
The Board of Directors of The Living Circle appoints Marco Zanolari as the new CEO. He will take over the role of Group Executive Management from Jürg Schmid, who has been performing the function on an interim basis, as of 1 August 2023. Zanolari was previously CEO of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG.

Michael Schuler receives his first Michelin star
Just last year, Michael Schuler and his team inaugurated the exclusive gourmet restaurant AQUA in the five-star Hotel Alex Lake Zurich. They were the second restaurant in Thalwil to be awarded the coveted Michelin star for their outstanding creations. He is thus the fourth celebrity chef of The Living Circle hotel and farming association, alongside Stefan Heilemann, two Michelin stars, Stefan Jäckel and Mattias Roock, one Michelin star each.

Discovery of the Year - Michael Schuler
We are pleased to announce that our star chef, Michael Schuler, who stepped out of the shadow of his teacher Stefan Heilemann and opened his first own restaurant at "Alex Lake Zürich" in Thalwil in 2021, has now been named Discovery of the Year 2023 by GaultMillau.

Mammertsberg Opening 2022
The traditional house Mammertsberg at Lake Constance opens its doors again on 01 October 2022. Besides a new interior for the beautiful rooms and the gourmet restaurant, you can also expect a new host: Silvio Germann. The talented Caminada student previously shaped the "IGNIV by Andreas Caminada" in Bad Ragaz for 7 years as head chef and won two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points with his team.

Ascona Riserva takes 3rd place in Falstaff's Merlot Trophy 2022
Falstaff once again went in search of the best Merlot in Switzerland. In third place, with 94 points, is the Ascona Merlot Riserva 2018 from Terreni alla Maggia. A spicy and flattering Merlot that matures for around 24 months in small French oak barrels. An acknowledgement of the great skill and flair that our Ascona winery demonstrates year after year when it comes to the Merlot grape.
