You can book a room directly on the website of your chosen property or conveniently here. Our booking system will guide you quickly and easily to the right room for your stay.

On our website, you can book up to 5 rooms simultaneously. Please note: from 5 rooms onwards, the booking is considered a group reservation – our reservations team will contact you in this case, and special cancellation conditions apply.

For larger groups or special requests, please contact the reservations team of your preferred hotel directly.

All our properties accept the following payment methods: American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, JCB and Discover. You can also pay by debit card and TWINT. Personal cheques are not accepted.

Several of our properties are members of renowned hotel consortia with their own loyalty programmes. The Widder Hotel and Castello del Sole are part of Leading Hotels of the World and offer benefits through the Leaders Club. Storchen Zürich is a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts with the I Prefer loyalty programme. Alex Lake Zürich and Bergwelt Grindelwald belong to Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Through these programmes, members benefit from exclusive perks, upgrades and special conditions.

The cancellation of your booking is governed by our Terms & Conditions. In general, bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours to 14 days before arrival, depending on the hotel and length of stay; later cancellations may incur fees. Detailed information can be found in our T&Cs.

Your room is guaranteed to be available from 3:00 PM. Should you arrive earlier and your room is already ready, we will of course welcome you immediately. If not, you are welcome to leave your luggage with us – we will store it safely until you can check in.

On the day of departure, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by the following times:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our hotels. Fees and restrictions vary by property:

Alex Lake Zürich, Storchen Zürich, Widder Hotel

CHF 35 per dog per night (without food). Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the reception area and in the restaurants at lunch and dinner. Please note that individual restaurants may have different policies – dogs are not permitted in the La Rôtisserie restaurant at Storchen Zürich, for example, but will be lovingly cared for by our hostess. We recommend contacting your preferred hotel in advance.

Castello del Sole

CHF 35 per dog per night (including food on request). Dogs are not permitted in the park, on the beach, in the restaurants or in the wellness areas. Dogs are welcome in your room, on the pool lawn and in the Cortile Barbarossa (outdoor bar area).

Château de Raymontpierre

CHF 25 per dog per night. Dogs are only welcome in the annex La Grange. Please note that a working farm with livestock guardian dogs is located next to the Château.

Assistance dogs are exempt from fees. For all properties, we recommend contacting the hotel in advance to confirm availability and to discuss any restrictions regarding breed or size.

Free on-site parking available.

Storchen Zürich
The hotel has no on-site parking. The nearest public parking is the Parkhaus Urania. Please contact the hotel for details on rates, distances and reservations.

Widder Hotel 
Hotel garage: CHF 45 per night (reservation required).

The Château is not fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility (many steps, no lift, limited spa access). However, four accessible rooms are available in the annex La Grange.

Alex Lake Zürich

Castello del Sole
The expansive SPA at Castello del Sole offers recovery at the highest level. Indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam room, fitness room and the luxurious SPA Suite Onsernone provide space for holistic well-being and complete tranquillity.

Château de Raymontpierre
Amidst unspoilt nature, Château de Raymontpierre offers a retreat for relaxation and mindfulness. Yoga, movement, healthy nutrition and the power of silence take centre stage – for a restorative escape from everyday life.

Storchen Zürich
In the heart of the city, guests of Storchen Zürich enjoy a stylish gym for daily training. Additionally, exclusive access to the Alex Spa on the lake shore is available – conveniently reached by private boat or limousine shuttle.

Widder Hotel
The Widder Hotel features a modern fitness studio for individual training. Massages can be arranged in the comfort of your room; for comprehensive spa treatments, guests have access to the Alex Spa in Thalwil.

Our concierge teams are available at selected properties and ensure a smooth and personalised stay. Services include recommendations and reservations for restaurants, hotels, cultural and leisure activities in the area, organisation of transfers, and individual assistance from arrival to departure. The team is happy to help with all requests to make your stay unforgettable.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available to guests in all our properties.

Children are warmly welcome at all our properties. Castello del Sole offers a Kids Club with a weekly changing programme for children aged three and above – from activities in the expansive park to a playground and playroom, an enclosure with donkeys and Shetland ponies, and water sports on Lago Maggiore. Alex Lake Zürich and Château de Raymontpierre also offer plenty of space and nature for families – at Alex Lake Zürich with water sports directly on the lake. Cots and extra beds are available on request at all properties, and children's menus are available in our restaurants. For individual requests and details, please contact your preferred property directly.

Our teams generally communicate in German, English and French. Italian is also spoken at Castello del Sole. For specific language needs, we recommend contacting your preferred property in advance.

All our properties are easily accessible by public transport. Detailed travel information – whether by train, car or plane – can be found on the respective hotel website under "Contact & Directions". For transfer requests from the airport or train station, our concierge team will be happy to assist.

All rooms and indoor areas of our properties are completely non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas. An exception is the exclusive Cigar Lounge at Storchen Zürich, which provides a stylish setting for aficionados of fine cigars.

The Guest Card is exclusively valid at the City & Lake Resort (Alex Lake Zürich, Storchen Zürich and Widder Hotel). It enables free transfers by private boat or limousine shuttle between the properties, prioritised table reservations and fast-lane access to the rooftop bar THE NEST. Guests thus benefit from all services and offerings across the participating properties.

You can easily reserve a table via the website of your preferred restaurant or alternatively call us to check availability. Our team will be happy to help you find the perfect time for your culinary experience.

With our "Farm to Table" approach, we connect agriculture, gastronomy and hospitality in our own closed loop. Our farms in Herrliberg near Zurich, in the Jura and in Ticino supply our hotels and restaurants with selected products from our own production. Our farms are a special part of The Living Circle experience and partly directly accessible. Guests of Castello del Sole can easily visit Terreni alla Maggia and Cantina alla Maggia on foot: simply walk over, explore the estate and take home homemade specialities and wines from the Enoteca Alimentare as a souvenir.

The Raymontpierre farm is located directly on the grounds of Château de Raymontpierre and is freely accessible to guests – an authentic experience amidst the nature of the Jura.

At Schlattgut in Herrliberg, above Lake Zurich, guests can observe the animals and purchase homemade specialities such as the famous Schlattgut ice cream or fresh farm products in the farm shop. For guided tours, we recommend checking directly with Schlattgut in advance.

The Living Circle brings together some of Switzerland's most renowned chefs under one roof, with the group holding a total of four Michelin stars.

Stefan Heilemann holds two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points. The Widder Restaurant was also named Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2024 (GaultMillau).

Stefan Jäckel leads the kitchen at La Rôtisserie on the banks of the Limmat and has been awarded one Michelin star.

Mattias Roock has headed the kitchen at Locanda Barbarossa since 2017 and was awarded one Michelin star and 18 GaultMillau points within a very short time.

Vegetarian and vegan alternatives are of course available in all our restaurants. Our kitchens work seasonally and according to the Farm-to-Table principle, making fresh plant-based dishes a natural part of our menus. For specific dietary requirements or allergies, we recommend informing the restaurant in advance so we can prepare your visit optimally.

• Large & impressive: The Widder Saal (up to 250 persons) or La Rôtisserie at Storchen Zürich (up to 200 persons) offer space for large banquets and seminars.

Food is invoiced separately and tailored individually to your event. Depending on your needs, you can choose from various catering options – from an apéritif to lunch or a multi-course dinner. This way, you only pay for what you truly want.

For events, we offer seasonal menu suggestions and catering options – from a quick coffee break to a refreshing apéritif and an exclusive multi-course menu. All culinary offerings are tailored individually to your event, always shaped by our Farm-to-Table philosophy: fresh ingredients from our own estates – Terreni alla Maggia, Schlattgut and Bauernhof Raymontpierre – go directly onto your table. We are happy to create a bespoke offer on request.

Certified halal or kosher menus are not part of our standard offering. If required, we recommend contacting us as early as possible – in individual cases, it may be possible to arrange a solution with an external specialist chef.
