We are excited to have you with us and we look forward to starting this journey together with you.
On this page, you will find all the detailed instructions, information and documents you need to complete your onboarding process with the Human Resources department.
Please read everything carefully and prepare everything required so you can start your journey with us in the best possible way.

Documents required for Check-in
To complete the check-in process, we require the following documents:
- Personal data sheet (completed)
- Copy of passport and/or identity card (front and back)
- Copy of bank / Swiss Post card (IBAN no.)
- Copy of health insurance / health card (front and back)
- Copy of OASI card (IF AVAILABLE, ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY WORKED IN SWITZERLAND)
- Copy of current residence permit (front and back, original to be handed in on arrival)
Permits

For the application of the G work permit, you must bring the originals of the following documents:

Criminal record extract from your home country (issued no more than 3 months ago).

Declaration of authenticity of your identity card and/or passport (to be requested from the Cantonal Police in Locarno before you present yourself at the Human Resources office).

To apply for the L work permit, we require:
-
Copy of your identity documents (front and back).

Copy of your rental contract, if applicable (if you are not staying in one of the staff houses).

If you are staying in one of our staff houses, within 8 days of your arrival you must:
-
complete the arrival notification with the municipality of your place of residence
Using the form below:
- Ascona – Casa al Pascolo / Casa al Segnale.
- Locarno– Casa del Personale.
- Losone – (form available only online and/or directly at the municipal office counter).
This document will be required if you need to take out a health insurance policy for an L permit. See more details in the health insurance section.

After you have completed the check-in, we will provide you with all the documents and instructions you need to open a bank account in Switzerland.
Trusted bank: UBS in Ascona where no banking fees are anticipated for the first two years.

Attention: please note that a motorway vignette is mandatory for cars on all Swiss motorways. This also applies to journeys between Ascona and Locarno.
Health insurance
With an L permit, you are required to take out health insurance coverage.
To support you in the subscription process, an external contact person is available to help you choose the most suitable insurance for you.

Staff accommodation
Staff House: single or double rooms for single use, located in a separate section of the hotel reserved for employees. Shared bathrooms and showers on the floor. No kitchen is available, but you can use the Trattoria del Personale (staff restaurant).
Casa al Segnale: 5 minutes’ walk from the resort. Studios for one and/or two people. Furnished, with kitchen and private bathroom.
Casa al Pascolo: 15 minutes’ walk, close to the shopping area. Studios for one and/or two people. Furnished, with kitchen and private bathroom.

Anticipation of the departure phases
In this section, you will find all the information and steps to follow in order to properly organise your departure at the end of the season, so that you are prepared from the very beginning.
Permits
14 days before your departure, you must go to the Human Resources office with your original permit, which must be returned to the Migration Office.
Municipality Departure Notification
If you are staying in one of the staff houses, you must notify your departure to the municipality where you registered upon arrival, using the indicated forms and/or directly at the counter.
Health Insurance
To cancel your health insurance, you will need the departure notification issued by your municipality (especially required for employees with an L permit).
Appointment with Human Resources
You must schedule an appointment directly with the Human Resources office.
Please remember that the final rent payment must be made before check-out.

Unemployment Documents
You can collect the necessary documents directly from the Human Resources office, up to two days before your departure.
Insurance for the Period Without Employment
