Numerous are the movies presented in three different sections: Concorso Internazionale, Cineasti del Presente and Pardi di Domani.
The heart of the festival is the daily evening projection in the magnificent Piazza Grande, which transforms itself into the "most beautiful open-air cinema". Producers, directors and actors who come to Locarno to present their films roam the red carpet and add a touch of glamour to the festival. In addition to the Piazza Grande, there will be projections in 8 other cinemas in the city.
Between a screening, a forum and a drink there are numerous opportunities for entertainment and fun.
